LIGA uses cork that is harvested every nine years without harming the tree and the EVA plastic is recycled from products like flip flops. To clean, simply wipe with a damp cloth. They are heat resistant to low temperatures (perfect for a warm mug) but due to the use of plastics, please do not use for items directly from the oven.
