This new hardcover book has been published on the occasion of David Austen’s solo exhibition Underworld at Dundee Contemporary Arts. The book has been co-edited by Beth Bate (Director, DCA) and Eoin Dara (Head of Exhibitions, DCA) and contains newly commissioned texts by poet and writer Lavinia Greenlaw and writer and curator George Vasey, alongside an introduction by Beth Bate and a short text by writer Rupert Thomson. The book also features comprehensive visual documentation of the exhibition and black and white photography by David Austen. This publication has been produced with generous support from Ingleby Gallery, Edinburgh and TOTAH, New York.
